APGA Approves 155 Candidates for Anambra Primary Elections

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has announced the list of candidates who have passed the screening process for the 2026 primary elections in Anambra.

Dr. Ejimofor Opara, APGA’s National Publicity Secretary, released the statement on Friday and made it available to journalists.

According to the party, eight aspirants were cleared for the senatorial race, 40 for the House of Representatives, and 107 for the Anambra State House of Assembly.

The statement further noted that all successful candidates named on the list are expected to travel to the party’s regional office in Awka on May 18 to collect their nomination forms.

It added that the sale of nomination forms will close on May 20, urging aspirants to finish the process within the allotted time.

The party’s National Working Committee congratulated the successful aspirants and wished them success ahead of the primary elections.
