APC Primaries: Zamfara Governor‑Candidate Lawal Becomes Consensus Choice

Zamfara State Governor Dauda Law Law emerged as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the 2027 governorship election in the state.

The APC adopted a consensus arrangement to conduct its primary, and Law Law was chosen through that process.

Party members and supporters convened in various wards across Zamfara, where they unanimously endorsed Law Law as the party’s flag‑bearer for the upcoming election.

After the exercise, the governor thanked reporters and the party for the confidence placed in him.

He pledged to continue and expand developmental projects aimed at improving the living conditions of Zamfara residents.

Law Law’s selection followed the similar outcome in Katsina State, where Governor Dikko Radda secured the APC ticket for the governorship race on Thursday.

Both Law Law and Radda are seeking a second term on the APC platform.
