APC National Assembly appeal committee assures fairness, neutrality in Delta

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Assembly Primaries Appeal Committee for Delta State has urged any dissatisfied aspirants and party members to formally lodge complaints regarding the Saturday House of Representatives primary elections held across the state.

The committee said the call is part of its effort to reinforce the party’s internal democratic practices and to guarantee fairness, transparency, and credibility after the direct primaries that selected candidates for the ten federal constituencies in Delta State.

Speaking in Asaba on Sunday, Chairman Mr. Chukwuemeka Ujam represented the five‑member committee and reaffirmed the party leadership’s commitment to a transparent and credible process that is free from interference.

Ujam, accompanied by other committee members, explained that all petitions, appeals and complaints concerning the primaries would be addressed in line with the party’s constitution, guidelines and democratic principles.

He added that the appeal process offers a chance for dissatisfied aspirants and stakeholders to seek redress through established party mechanisms, while also helping to maintain unity within the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The committee urged party members to channel their grievances through peaceful and lawful means, assuring that every petition would be treated fairly and objectively.
