APC Begins Distribution of Sensitive Materials in Nasarawa North Representative Primary

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has started distributing election materials for the House of Representatives primary in the Akwanga/Nasarawa Eggon/Wamba Federal Constituency of Nasarawa State.

A delegation from the party’s National Secretariat, headed by Abubakar Billy Tafawa Balewa, is overseeing the operation and has assured members that it will be carried out peacefully, transparently, and credibly.

Balewa emphasized the party’s commitment to a fair primary that will produce a candidate acceptable for the 2027 general elections.

According to party insiders, election materials are already being transported to several wards in Akwanga Local Government Area and other parts of the constituency before voting begins.

Earlier, the APC national delegation was welcomed in Akwanga by Executive Chairman Safiyanu Isa Andaha of the Akwanga Local Government Council and Nasarawa State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development Yakubu Kwanta.

Party officials said that voting would commence right away at designated polling centres once distribution is finished.
