APC Aspirant Buba Withdraws from Kaduna Rep. Primaries

Mahmud Sadis Buba, better known as Al‑Ajabin Zazzau, has withdrawn his candidacy for the House of Representatives seat in Sabon Gari Federal Constituency under the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He made the announcement in a letter to the Kaduna State Chairman of the APC and posted the same on his verified Facebook page on Saturday.

In the letter, Buba explained that the decision came after reconciliation efforts within the party and consultations with key stakeholders.

“Please accept this letter as formal notification that I am withdrawing from the race for Sabon Gari Federal Constituency, House of Representatives, effective immediately,” he wrote.

He described the move as a difficult one, but said it was made to promote unity and progress within the APC.

According to Buba, supporting a single candidate is essential for the party’s success in the upcoming elections.

“My withdrawal is not a sign of weakness, but a sacrifice for the greater good of the party,” he said.

“I ask my supporters to remain calm, united, and to throw their full weight behind the party’s decision and whoever emerges as the party’s candidate,” he added.
