ANBROAD President Abdulganeey Wins APC Assembly Ticket in Ibadan

The National President of the Association of Nigerian Broadcasters (ANBROAD), Abdulrazaq Abdulganeey, has won the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for the Ibadan North Constituency 1 seat.

The primary took place across all six wards that comprise the constituency on Wednesday.

Our correspondent reports that Abdulganeey emerged as the party’s candidate ahead of the 2027 general elections.

His selection was confirmed when he received affirmation as the sole aspirant for the party.

The broadcaster secured affirmation votes in every one of the six wards during the APC primary.

Omilabu Ghandi, a party leader in the Ibadan North local government area, explained that the party used a direct primary to choose its candidate and thanked members for their peaceful conduct during the exercise.
