World record holder Tobi Amusan advanced to the women’s 100 m hurdles final at the 2026 African Senior Athletics Championship on Tuesday, according to Completesports.com.
Amusan, who is aiming for her third African title, won her heat with a season‑best time of 12.82 seconds.
The 29‑year‑old recorded the fastest overall time across the two heats.

Team Nigeria’s Janet Sunday, making her debut at the competition, finished second in her heat.
The heat was topped by Ghanaian record holder Evonne Britton.
The final will be contested at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
