Olumide Ajibola, the assistant coach of Nigeria’s U‑17 national team, announced that he will apply the player‑development methods he used at Beyond Limits, a club in the Nigeria National League, to the national side.

Ajibola has just been appointed to work alongside newly hired U‑17 head coach Eboboritse Uwejamomere.

The duo will prepare the squad for the WAFU B U‑17 Boys Championship in September, a tournament that will serve as a qualifier for the 2027 Africa U‑17 Cup of Nations.

Ajibola said his new position carries significant responsibility and expectations.

“Serving with the U17 national team is a responsibility I do not take lightly,” Ajibola told Adexsport. “The work we do here at Beyond Limits is about building players for the future, and that aligns directly with what the national setup requires.”
