ADC presidential ticket: Amaechi arrives at venue for screening

Former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi has arrived at the African Democratic Congress (ADC) venue for the presidential screening.

The presidential aspirant appeared at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja, wearing his Niger Delta regalia, accompanied by several close allies on Wednesday in preparation for the event.

Last week, the former Rivers State governor officially announced his intention to run for president in 2027 after submitting his nomination forms to the ADC secretariat in Abuja.

Following the submission, Amaechi clarified that he did not acquire the nomination forms with the aim of becoming a vice‑presidential candidate.

He maintained that he obtained the forms in pursuit of the presidency of Nigeria.
