The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has delayed its presidential and governorship screening, which was originally set for this weekend, to Monday.
The decision was announced in a statement released on Saturday in Abuja by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi.
In addition, the party said that, because of security concerns in certain parts of the North, the screening for National Assembly aspirants will now take place in Abuja.
All affected aspirants will be contacted with updated schedules and any other necessary information about the revised screening arrangements.
The party expressed regret for any inconvenience caused by the change and thanked aspirants and stakeholders for their understanding and cooperation.
