Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has made a further minor adjustment to the Adamawa State Executive Council, reassigning two commissioners to alternate ministries.
In the new arrangement, Joab Sahma will transfer from the Ministry of Lands and Survey to the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry, while Dr. John Ishaya Dabari will take over the Ministry of Lands and Survey after vacating his previous post in Commerce, Trade and Industry.
A statement from the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, confirmed that the changes are effective immediately.
Governor Fintiri explained that the redeployment aims to inject fresh energy into government operations and uphold the administration’s commitment to efficient public service.
He encouraged the commissioners to embrace their new duties with dedication and renewed focus, emphasizing the importance of implementing programmes and policies that will benefit the state’s residents.
