Accord Party Reaffirms Support for Gbenga Hashim’s 2027 Presidential Bid in Ekiti

The Accord Party in Ekiti State reaffirmed its support for Dr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim's presidential bid for the 2027 general elections, committing to mobilise grassroots support for his campaign throughout the state.

The endorsement was announced on Thursday at the party’s governorship rally in Ado-Ekiti, where party leaders, women’s groups, youths, and supporters from across the state gathered.

At the event, Ekiti State Chairman of the Accord Party, Philip Adeniji, described the gathering as a display of unity and preparedness for forthcoming elections, reaffirming the party’s support for Olawepo-Hashim.

“We gathered here today to reaffirm Dr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim as our presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections, and we are throwing our full weight behind him,” Adeniji said.

He expressed confidence in the candidate’s capacity to bring a new direction to the country, emphasizing the party’s continued commitment to his ambition.

Alhaji Olaniru Abass, Southwest Coordinator of the Gbenga Hashim Solidarity Movement, also spoke, noting that the rally reflected increasing acceptance of Olawepo-Hashim’s political message throughout the region.

He added that the Accord Party flagbearer has the experience and vision required to lead Nigeria during a critical period.

“Our gathering here today is to reaffirm our support for Hashim as the candidate of the Accord Party. He is the leader many Nigerians are waiting for,” Abass said.

Funmilayo Adeyeye, the party’s Ekiti State Women Leader, pledged to continue mobilising women across the state for the campaign and urged ongoing support from party leadership.

Party leader Samuel Abiola stated that the endorsement reflected members’ confidence in Olawepo-Hashim’s leadership qualities and his vision for national unity and development.
