Abia Angels Goalkeeper Oloko Confident Ahead of Super Six Playoff

Abia Angels goalkeeper Fatima Oloko has voiced confidence that her team can make a strong showing in the 2025‑26 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Super Six playoff tournament.

The Umuahia‑based club, together with Robo Queens and Nasarawa Amazons, earned a spot in the playoff from NWFL Conference B.

From Conference A, Rivers Angels, Edo Queens and the reigning champions Bayelsa Queens also qualified.

Oloko said the squad will tackle each match in the tournament with focus and determination.

“We are getting ready for the Super Six tournament,” Oloko told the media after the regular season finished.

“We were not favourites to qualify. We are going to go there and give our best.”

“We will play each game as if it is the last, so whatever comes out of it we will take it.”
