Abia Angels credit coach Eshalomi for Super Six playoff success

Abia Angels praised head coach Mario Eshalomi for guiding the team to the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Super Six playoff.

The Abia‑based club secured a spot in the playoffs alongside Robo Queens and Nasarawa Amazons in NWFL Conference B.

According to the club, the coach steered the side through a demanding campaign.

“Coach Mario came in and changed the mentality. He made us believe we belonged in the Super 6,” the club said on Wednesday.

Eshalomi was hired from former NWFL champions Rivers Angels. He has also managed Delta Queens and Royal Queens.
