24 ships discharge petroleum products, others in Lagos ports

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) announced on Friday that 24 vessels were offloading petroleum products and other goods at Lagos ports—Apapa, Lekki, and Tin‑Can Island.

The ships were unloading bulk wheat, bulk salt, general cargo, fresh fish, containers, bulk sugar, petrol, bulk gas, diesel, bulk urea and additional containers.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), 46 additional ships carrying petroleum products, food items, and other commodities are expected to arrive at Lagos ports.

The NPA added that those incoming vessels would carry general cargo, bulk urea, crude oil, bulk gas, bulk wheat, bulk millet, bulk sugar, condensate, aviation fuel, deliveries, various containers, bulk salt, and petrol.

Nine ships had already arrived and were awaiting berthing, carrying bulk urea, crude oil, diesel, aviation fuel, gasoline, bulk fertilizer, general cargo, and petrol.
