2027: We’re poised to produce capable leaders to move Nigeria forward – ADC

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) says it is ready to produce capable leaders to advance Nigeria.

This statement was posted on the party’s official X account on Wednesday, in response to its gubernatorial screening exercise.

The ADC noted that more than 80 gubernatorial aspirants participated in the screening nationwide ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to the party, the strong turnout reflects the growing confidence Nigerians are placing in the ADC as a platform for credible leadership, democratic inclusion, grassroots development, and national renewal.

The ADC added that the screening process brought together aspirants from various states across the federation, all united by a shared commitment to purposeful governance, accountability, and service to the people.

“As momentum continues to build across the country, the ADC remains focused on strengthening internal democracy and providing Nigerians with capable leaders ready to move the nation forward,” the ADC said.

“The movement is growing. Hope is rising across Nigeria,” it added.
