2027: Kwankwaso Hosts Igbo Elders – Photos

Vice‑presidential candidate for the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Rabiu Kwankwaso, welcomed a delegation from the Igbo Elders Consultative Forum at his Abuja home.

Kwankwaso announced the visit in a post on X on Wednesday, noting that the elders pledged support for the proposed Peter Obi/Kwankwaso ticket under the NDC ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The delegation was led by Dr. S. N. Okeke, Chairman of the Ohanaeze Council of Elders representing the 19 states and the Federal Capital Territory, and former Enugu State Governor Okwesilieze Nwodo.

Kwankwaso said the elders praised the growing relationship between him and Peter Obi within the NDC and assured the party of electoral backing across the South‑East and other parts of the South.

He expressed satisfaction with his working relationship with Obi and reiterated his commitment to the OK Movement and the NDC, adding that the party remains determined to win the 2027 elections.
