2027: God keeps showing me Tinubu — Yul Edochie

Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has sparked online debate again after stating that God continues to guide him to support President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 elections.

During a recent interview on The Honest Bunch podcast, Edochie explained that his endorsement of Tinubu stems from what he describes as divine direction, claiming that God has always shown him whom to back in elections.

When asked what led him to support Tinubu, the actor replied: “Because I want to support him and God — I have said it before in an interview — God has always shown me who to support, and he keeps showing me Tinubu, and I am going to stand by him.”

When the interviewer questioned whether God truly intervenes in elections, Edochie reiterated his belief. “I don’t know if he is involved on your side, but he is involved in mine; he showed me where to go,” he said.

Edochie remains one of the entertainment industry’s most outspoken supporters of Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress, despite frequent backlash on social media over his political views.
