2027: Comedian DeeOne emerges House of Assembly candidate in Lagos 

Popular Nigerian Big Brother Naija reality show star and comedian Aderombi Adedayo Martins, known as DeeOne, has been selected as the Lagos State House of Assembly candidate for Ibeju Lekki Constituency 1.

Running under the BOOT Party banner, DeeOne won the primary election for the constituency and will represent the party in the 2027 election.

After his victory, DeeOne posted a message on his Instagram page on Wednesday night, thanking the party for its trust and pledging to serve the constituents diligently if elected.

He wrote, “I want to thank my party, BOOT party for the confidence in voting for me to emerge the winner of the primary election for Ibeju Lekki Constituency 1.”

He added, “To Ibeju Lekki Constituency 1, come 2027 by the grace of God, I will be your worker and not your boss.”
