2026 U-17 World Cup Qualifiers: Flamingos Beat Guinea 5-0 in Second-Round First Leg Away Match

Nigeria’s Flamingos secured a decisive 5-0 victory in an away match against Guinea during the first leg of the second‑round qualifier for the 2026 FIFA U‑17 World Cup.

The win was highlighted by a hat‑trick from Harmony Chidi, with additional goals from Oluwakemi Adegbuyi and Mary Dunstan.

Chidi opened the scoring just one minute into the game and doubled the lead in the 12th minute.

She completed her hat‑trick by putting the Flamingos ahead 3‑0 in the 36th minute.

Two minutes later, Adegbuyi added a fourth goal, and Dunstan sealed the match with a fifth in the 56th minute.

The return leg is scheduled for Saturday, 30 May 2026, to be played at Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Ogun State, Nigeria.
