Campari tomatoes: are regarded as one of the sweetest tomatoes. They are known for their  texture and their acidic and sugar balance that gives them their taste. Campari tomatoes are classified as a cocktail tomato, slightly bigger than a cherry tomato but smaller and rounder than a plum tomato. They are redder than most  tomatoes, because they are grown hydroponically and ripened on the vine, which also eliminates the need for pests. They are bought with the vine still attached to them so they continue to ripen naturally and do not have to be ripened with ethylene gas. Once the tomato on the vine is harvested, the tomatoes ripen from the top of the cluster down.

Plum tomatoes are mini tomatoes with the an egg like shape, bright red, smooth, thick skin of other plum tomato varieties. Flavorino plum tomatoes grow in a chain-like pattern with a small branch of about 8 to 12 fruits on each branch. A single fruit can weigh between 35 and 40 grams, its flesh has few seeds, high sugar and acid levels, and low moisture content. They are ideal for cooking down into a tomato sauce or paste. The disease resistant plants grow to an average of 4-6 feet, the fruits  grow to a certain height and ripen about the same time, producing one large crop typically toward the end of the season.

Grape tomatoes are small brilliant red, oval grape tomatoes with refreshingly sweet flavors. Just like the original grape tomatoes, they also have thin skins and are packed with sweet juice.

Beefsteak tomatoes are named for their large size and meaty texture, they have a classic flavor, depending on the variety. They are also sweet to the taste. They are heavy, reaching weights as high as four pounds, and they range in color from pink, red, to orange. Most are smooth in shape. Their blossoms grow at the ends of shoots, stopping growth and determining their length.

Cherry tomatoes are generally much sweeter than large tomatoes. The size and color of cherry tomatoes have a wide range, as there are different varieties. The perfect cherry tomato will be, first and foremost, in-season. It should be almost firm, thin, and smooth-skinned. The flavor will be a fine balance of sweet and sharp taste. Like all tomatoes, cherry tomatoes can be classified on how they grow, as their plants produce in two different forms.
